The GHDI program does not directly offer scholarships.
The Center for Global Health Delivery – Dubai has generously committed to fund scholarships for students meeting specific criteria. Full scholarships will cover tuition only. These scholarships are available to applicants that meet the following criteria:
Geography/residency: UAE citizen, long-term residency in the UAE, or from the Center’s region: Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh,
China, Djibouti, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea,
Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Mauritania, Morocco, Nepal,
Oman, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia. Somalia, South Africa,
Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Tajikistan, Tunisia,
Turkmenistan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Yemen.
Professional role: Preference will be given to students who will have a significant role in
hospitals, clinical or policy-making bodies. There is no separate application for these scholarships. Decisions will be made at the discretion of the faculty by the end of March/beginning of April, and applicants will be notified via email.
Applicants that do not meet the above criteria are strongly encouraged to pursue scholarship opportunities and offerings through their employer, university, funding organization, their home country’s ministry of cultural affairs, education or health, and/or local foundations or groups. Accepted students must seek and secure any financial assistance needed prior to their arrival. For non-US citizens, documentation of sufficient funding is required for a visa.
GHDI does not offer any scholarships other than through the Dubai Center.
