Dr. Shahed Alam is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Noora Health, an international non-profit that improves health outcomes and strengthens systems by equipping patients’ loved ones with skills and support to be effective caregivers. Prior to Noora, Shahed focused on improving healthcare for incarcerated populations in the U.S. and on developing low-cost technologies for better diagnostics in low- and middle-income settings. He holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering and MHS in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and an MD from Stanford. He is an Associate Faculty at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a GLG Social Impact Fellow.
