In addition to building a cohort of professionals trained in global health delivery principles, GHD is building a network of faculty trained to teach these lessons. In 2012, GHD invited select faculty from schools of medicine, public health, and business worldwide to gather in Boston. They discussed using GHD’s case-based course ware in their local institutions: how to present and facilitate case discussions, how to utilize teaching notes, and how to develop their own case-based courses.
The launch of the Global Health Delivery Faculty Network offers global health and other educators an opportunity to learn about teaching and implementing case-based global health curricula while engaging in discussions of the course content and advancing the field of global health delivery as well.
If you are a faculty member interested in teaching GHD case studies in your classroom or you would like to connect with other faculty members teaching the cases, please contact us to join our Faculty Network.
If you are already a member of the Faculty Network, you may log into the private community here.
